I am pretty sure that most of you have seen photos or read
articles about love locks. They are padlocks that are affixed by couples to a
fence, bridge or gate as a symbol of their love. The thing doesn’t necessarily
have to be done with your partner. You can also do this with your family or
friends as long as you are celebrating the undying love you have for each
other. But did you know that we have our own version of love locks like those
in the popular places like in Paris, Germany and Korea?
Recently, Josh and I celebrated our 16th month of
being together. As part of our celebration, we decided to attach our lock at the
fence of a grotto outside the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help,
popularly known as Baclaran Church in Parañaque City.
Few months back, I read an article about the love locks in
Baclaran Church and immediately told Josh about this. According to the article,
the Church officials too has no idea who started the trend but they are certain
that it has become an attraction for devotees in Baclaran Church.
As cheesy as it may sound, people should still believe that “forever”
exists. Kung si Xander at Agnes nga, may forever eh. J
We only have two days to wander in Baguio City so right after our lunch with my sister, we went straight to Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad.
We were accompanied by Kuya Poch (my sister's husband).

It's thursday, thursday, gotta get down on Thursday!
Thursday, our most awaited day of the week, kasi it's our day off!
We always want to make our Thursday special or somehow different from the other days of the week.
This time, we had a chance to watch some films in the 10th Cinemalaya Film Festival! We were able to watch "The Janitor" and some of the featured short films. The films were great and meaningful. Pero hindi maaalis na antukin at maka tulog si Alysa! Zzzzz.
Of course, 'selfie' shot will never be forgotten. hahaha. Medyo nakakahiya lang as we saw some friends before taking our selfie shot. Pero I think nasanay na kami, and medyo nawawala na yung hiya. :p
And for our merienda-dinner meal, we had our favorite pizza at Yellow Cab. Grabe ang tagal na namin di naka kain ng Dear Darla! Haha. Bonus pa yung sunset view sa Manila Bay. =) Meals are really best enjoyed when you're with someone you're in love with.
Today, we found ourselves being in love with each other more and more. As we do different things together, we're having the opportunity to know each other in different ways.
